In Person Therapy

Remote Therapy

As someone who has lived with OCD since early childhood, I know how often neurodivergence can make a person feel judged, misunderstood, and lonely. That is why my focus in therapy is to create a space where you can feel understood and supported, and a therapeutic relationship based on safety and trust. I am interested in exploring how your neurodivergence impacts you in ways good, bad, and complicated. I feel very grateful to be able to support others in this community.

I am also keen on exploring the intersections between mental health, social justice, and creativity. I have a particular interest in how our minds and bodies interact with our environment, our cultures, communities, histories, and society at large. Because of this, I practice from a trauma-informed and anti-oppressive framework, informed by queer and feminist theory.

I integrate various types of therapy in my work but am mostly drawn to Attachment Theory, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I incorporate somatic interventions, as well as grounding exercises and resources. I value transparency, collaboration, and consent in the therapeutic space, and will regularly seek consent before we try different therapeutic interventions.

Together we will co-create sessions that work best for you.

Diving under the surface is one of the bravest things you can do. Sometimes you sit down to deal with a problem and have no idea where to start. You might feel stuck, disconnected, or maybe you are simply seeking guidance while you wade through something difficult. That’s where I come in. I strive to create an environment where you aren’t mean to yourself. I want to inspire conversations that are grounded in self-acceptance so that you can gain awareness and develop new perspectives.

I tend to work well with what I call “fast brained” people. That’s probably because I’m neurodivergent, just like many of my clients. My queer identity has taught me that while some labels are given to us, others are discovered. I would love to sit down with you and not only help you feel seen, but help you see yourself for who you are.
